• Exploring the Holy City of Jerusalem

    Today is Monday and the Group is exploring and enjoying Jerusalem. Three days ago the group arrived in the Jerusalem after completing a 4-day desert trek in the footsteps of the Children of Israel that had wandered for forty years in the desert dreaming about Jerusalem.

    As young adults from a country filled with ideals and institutions that allow us to freely express our religious beliefs, it is hard for us to imagine an anti-semitic government. Many of us have grown up dreading Hebrew school and cramming for our bar and bat mitzvahs with little thought about what others gave up for our cause.

  • Camp Eisner- Shabbat Shalom!

    We hope you had an amazing and exciting Fourth of July. Although we didn't get to go to a carnival, we still had fun on the airplane that took us from Warsaw to Tel Aviv. After singing the national anthem in time with our landing at Ben Gurion Airport, we got to experience modern Israel. Tel Aviv's sidewalks are saturated with bustling pedestrians, glass buildings dominating the skyline and the overall energy of a city that never sleeps.
