A Poem from Bus 6

Our week began as we arrived in the holiest city on earth. Jerusalem’s beauty made our long drive well… worth.

We made our way through the tunnels of the old city, and our underwater trek was far from… pretty.

Later that day we arrived at the western wall, we sadly learned of the first temple’s… fall.

We left the holy city and continued east. We slept in tents and ate a Bedouin… feast

Camel riding was very exciting, but we had to watch out and make sure the camels weren’t …biting

We took the bus to the world’s lowest spot, we swam in the Dead Sea which was ridiculously …hot

Unfortunately we had to say our first goodbye, we lost our security guard who’s one heck of a …guy

We continued to Akko where we stayed near the beach. We are super lucky our guides have so much to… teach

Then we travelled inland away from the coast, and tried delicious food from a gracious Druz …host

We’re leaving for our four-day chavaya and we’re saying goodbye, sugar how you get so…fly

We know you’ve been practicing fight song and have become more prepared, but this doesn’t change a thing because Nolim 20 remains …unscared

Xoxo,

Nolim 20 aka; bus 6, mekupelet, Israel 21, machon 22, counselors 23, generals 24-25,

And most importantly Evan Jaffe appreciators
